Further Explanation on our Pricing Structure:

Most clients pair their financial planning with investment management to maximize the benefit of our relationship together. Before you have to ask, Wealth Management (WM) is actually the same thing as FP + IM, but our clients have voiced to us a desire for the utmost flexibility and we listened.

FP + IM combines a flat monthly fee plus a quarterly asset management fee as a percentage of your portfolio balance (details below). Why do we do this? Many clients like the idea of their financial planning fee being flat while having a lower % of our fees tied to the portfolio balance for investment management.

Comprehensive Wealth Management (WM) combines FP + IM but uses a single fee structure with a higher quarterly fee as a percentage of your portfolio (details below). Why do we do this? This is a more traditional pricing model. This is how most financial advisors do it. Many clients are more familiar with this structure and prefer it as a more simple and straightforward model to understand. It is also more heavily tied to your portfolio balance and therefore your portfolio performance. Your investments go up; what you pay us goes up. Your investments go down; what you pay us goes down. (IM is the same way, just with a lower % of the fee being tied to your investment balance and investment performance.) Note: Wealth Management (WM) is only offered for portfolios over $500,000.

Quick Summary: Financial Planning (FP) fees are paid electronically monthly. Investment Management (IM) fees are deducted from the investment account(s) quarterly. FP + IM adds the two services and uses two pricing plans. Wealth Management (WM) fees combine financial planning with investment management in one simple fee structure, which are deducted from the investment account(s).
